In January 2020, Vegan Ventures was born and started by Ashley Castellanos in Portland, Oregon. It started as solely a social media platform and evolved into a multimedia business. Growing an online community of over 45,000 followers and subscribers by sharing the best recommendations for vegan food and travel online.

As of Feburary 2025, Vegan Ventures LLC has evolved into a vegan tour company, offering international group tours that are for the vegan foodie and traveler.
