Explore the beauty of Merida, Mexico!

Come and explore the beautiful city of Merida, known as "The White City" because of its many white limestone buildings as well as the jungle in the beautiful state of Yucatan.

Come on this multi-day experience in the capital of the Mexican state of Yucatan! This tour will allow you to enjoy the city’s incredible food scene through a vegan lens but also, this is for the curious traveler. Where you’ll learn about the rich history, the regional Yucatan cuisine, and hear stories of the Mayan past as well as learn about the present with our local guide.

The foodie in you will:

  • Partake in a Piíbil Workshop and learn how a slow-cooking technique using an earthen oven.

  • Try new dishes! The Mexican state of Yucatan has so many incredible regional dishes with great stories behind them

  • Walk through some of the city’s famous food markets

  • Learn to make traditional dishes of the state of Yucatan at a vegan cooking class

The traveler in you will:

  • Explore and learn about the city’s beautiful neighborhoods, landmarks, and famous artwork

  • Explore the colonial town of Izamal, known as the Yellow City for its golden-hued buildings.

  • Visit Uxmal, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and explore grandeur of the ancient Maya civilization.

  • Swim in the Yucatan’s beautiful cenotes
